Position Overview: Connected Health Care is seeking a Local or Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 26-week contract assignment in San ANgelo TX. Job Description:
As an LVN, you will provide direct patient care in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate nurse who thrives in dynamic healthcare environments. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document patient progress.
- Assist with patient assessments, including physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare procedures, self-care, and medication management.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers when necessary.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- 2+ years of LVN experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Weekly compensation up to $1700 based on experience.
- 26-week contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.
