Job Description:

Connected Health Care is seeking a Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join a top-tier Critical Access facility located in Salem, IL. This is an exciting 13-week travel assignment offering a night shift schedule (3x12s), perfect for experienced CRTs looking to make an impact in a close-knit healthcare setting.

As a CRT, you will be responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care, performing diagnostic respiratory procedures, and supporting patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders. This is a travel position with immediate start opportunities – ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding experience in a rural community-focused hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in cardiopulmonary care

  • Manage ventilator settings and monitor respiratory status

  • Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls

  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide patient-centered care

  • Accurately document patient care and treatment outcomes

  • Comply with hospital policies and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license in Illinois – REQUIRED

  • BCLS Certification – REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy (Critical Access preferred)

  • Knowledge of cardiopulmonary procedures and ventilator management

  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

  • Must be comfortable working independently during night shifts

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program

  • Completion of NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) CRT credential
