Job Description:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, assess labor progression, and provide support and education to mothers and families
• Assist with childbirth techniques, administer medications, and provide emotional support throughout the labor process
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
