Job Description:

• Serve as a circulator in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), assisting with the safe and efficient transition of patients from surgery to recovery
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess post-operative status, and provide immediate intervention as needed
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the PACU, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with specific experience in PACU preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
