Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Rehab – Rockford, Illinois
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected healthcare organization in Rockford, IL to find a dedicated Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support a specialized Neuro Rehabilitation program serving patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex neurological conditions. This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates—an incredible opportunity for an RN seeking to grow within a highly rewarding specialty.
Job Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality care to patients recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions in a neuro-rehab setting

Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and monitor treatment progress
-
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed
-
Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support holistic rehabilitation goals
-
Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records
-
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies
-
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge preparation
-
Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
Education & Certification Requirements
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
-
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
-
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates considered depending on department)

Strong clinical assessment abilities and critical-thinking skills
-
Passion for patient-centered care in a rehabilitative or neurological care environment
