Travel Labor and Delivery RN – Towson, MD (13 Weeks)

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Towson, MD. Join our dedicated team and make a significant impact in the lives of expecting families in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive care for labor and delivery patients, including monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Assist with labor and delivery processes, including conducting assessments and administering medications.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
• Follow established protocols and standards to ensure high-quality care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland or compact license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications preferred.
