Job Description:

Teach literature, composition, grammar, and critical thinking skills

Implement engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with Indiana Academic Standards

Foster analytical reading skills through diverse texts and genres

Develop students’ writing proficiency across narrative, informational, and argumentative styles

Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations

Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular literacy initiatives

Maintain positive parent-teacher communication
Education & Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
