We are a well-established long-term care facility looking for a talented and passionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. This is a full-time, direct hire position with competitive compensation and benefits.

The ADON is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the DON in managing the daily operations of the nursing department
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Supervise and train nursing staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Manage and maintain resident records and documentation
• Monitor and evaluate resident care to ensure high-quality care is being provided
• Provide direct care to residents as needed
• Participate in quality improvement activities and initiatives
• Assist with budget management and staffing decisions

Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care
• Ability to manage and motivate staff
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
