Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of accountants

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to resolve accounting issues
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Medicare & Medicaid cost reporting
- Familiarity with Ohio Healthcare Assurance Program (HCAP)
- Knowledge of IRS form 990 filing requirements
- Experience in hospital or healthcare financial environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of hospital accounting experience
- Prior exposure to critical access facilities and cost reporting
Other Requirements:
- Critical access hospital experience
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, day shifts, with no on-call requirements
- Willingness to support relocation if necessary
