Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Stamford, CT
Hourly Compensation: Up to $65/hr | Full-Time | K-12 Caseload
Connected Health Care is looking for a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a dynamic school district in Stamford, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity to positively impact students with autism and other behavioral challenges by developing and implementing evidence-based intervention strategies.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to analyze student behavior and determine intervention needs.

Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students in self-regulation, social skills, and academic engagement.

Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and school staff on ABA principles and classroom behavior management.

Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, special educators, and families to create a consistent support system for students.

Utilize data collection and analysis to track progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Lead group and individual ABA therapy sessions focused on communication, executive functioning, and positive social interactions.

Support crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies to maintain a safe and structured learning environment.

Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to advocate for students' needs and contribute to personalized education plans.

Conduct staff training and professional development on ABA best practices and behavior management techniques.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Connecticut BCBA licensure (or eligibility to obtain).

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in a school setting, working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Strong knowledge of ABA principles, FBAs, and BIPs.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and progress tracking.
