Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • Certifications Requirements:
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in Colorado
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Colorado
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Colorado
  • Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing bereavement counseling or similar mental health services.
  • Experience working in long-term care or healthcare settings preferred.
  • Previous experience with outpatient or community mental health programs is a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must be licensed in Colorado as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with empathy. What We Offer

    Job Responsibilities
    • Provide compassionate bereavement counseling to patients and families, addressing emotional needs and facilitating coping strategies.
    • Assess clients’ mental health status and develop individualized care plans to support grieving processes.
    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity of emotional support services.
    • Document patient interactions and progress in electronic medical records accurately and timely.
    • Maintain compliance with all licensing, confidentiality, and facility-specific policies and procedures.
