Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum CRNA to join a leading healthcare facility in South Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic setting while gaining valuable experience in a flexible locum role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures across a variety of specialties.
• Provide OB anesthesia services, including epidural and spinal anesthesia for labor and C-sections.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, obstetricians, and medical teams to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to facility protocols and state regulations.
• Provide expert care in settings including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pain management.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted CRNA license in South Dakota (or compact eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (MSN or DNP preferred).
• Board Certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of CRNA experience, including experience in OB anesthesia.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current and required).
• Previous locum or travel experience preferred but not required.
