Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Gold Beach, Oregon to find a Travel CT Tech for Tuesday-Friday 0730-1800 shifts with occasional overnight on-call as needed. Job Description:

• Perform CT scans on patients to assist in the diagnosis of a variety of medical conditions, including trauma, illness, and chronic diseases.
• Operate CT imaging equipment, ensuring that it is calibrated and functioning properly for optimal imaging results.
• Provide excellent patient care, explaining the procedure and answering questions to reduce anxiety and ensure patient cooperation.
• Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patient reactions during the imaging process.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.
• Document all procedures accurately in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system, maintaining precise records of imaging results and patient information.
• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment and adhere to safety standards, including minimizing radiation exposure.
• Perform on-call duties for overnight coverage as needed, with the exact details to be discussed during the interview.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• CT certification from ARRT or equivalent required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Oregon state license or eligibility to obtain required.
• Prior experience as a CT Tech in a clinical setting preferred.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a CT Tech in a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Strong knowledge and experience in CT imaging and contrast agent administration.
• Ability to work independently, especially during on-call and after-hours shifts.
• Excellent patient communication skills and ability to perform imaging procedures with high accuracy.
• Experience in trauma care or emergency CT procedures is preferred.
