As a Certified Hand Therapist OT, your role is to provide high-quality occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will be responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician. Your care will encompass patients of all ages, and you will coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. Effective resource utilization, problem-solving, and participation in various programs are essential components of this role.
**What You Will Do in This Role:**
- Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer occupational therapy modalities of treatment.
- Administer occupational therapy to patients of all age groups.
- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise tasks assigned to supportive staff.
- Demonstrate effective resource utilization, contributing to operational stability.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Communicate and assist in resolving problems.
- Participate in performance improvement and program growth.
- Engage in infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.
