Nurse Practitioner / Physician's Assistant

Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruiting firm, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Family Medicine position at a prestigious hospital in St Francis, KS. Responsibilities:

1. Provide primary care services to patients of all ages in a family medicine setting.
2. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
3. Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
5. Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest developments in family medicine.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
2. Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Kansas.
3. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
4. At least 2 years of clinical experience in family medicine or a related primary care setting.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
