Job Description:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans

Provide rehabilitative services to help patients develop, regain, and improve daily living skills

Monitor patient performance and progress, and report findings to supervising therapists

Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques to continue progress at home
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
-
Ensure a safe and positive therapy environment for patients
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Education and Certification Requirements:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Active COTA license in the state of South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)

Current BLS certification
-
Prior clinical experience preferred but not required – new grads are encouraged to apply
