Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Near Rapid City, South Dakota

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team at a reputable healthcare facility near Rapid City, SD. If you are passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Job Description:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Provide rehabilitative services to help patients develop, regain, and improve daily living skills

  • Monitor patient performance and progress, and report findings to supervising therapists

  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques to continue progress at home

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines

  • Ensure a safe and positive therapy environment for patients

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Active COTA license in the state of South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Current BLS certification

  • Prior clinical experience preferred but not required – new grads are encouraged to apply
