Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Days - Spearfish, SD

Connected Health Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in Spearfish, SD. If you are passionate about helping patients regain independence through occupational therapy, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive healthcare environment.

Job Description:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients

  • Provide hands-on therapy to help patients improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and adaptive equipment use

  • Document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding therapy services

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Active COTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)

  • CPR/BLS certification required

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required
