Hourly Compensation: $35/hr | Part-Time | 25 Hours/Week
Connected Health Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an Educational Services client in Newburyport, MA. This part-time role is perfect for a dedicated COTA looking to assist students in developing essential motor and functional skills in a supportive school setting.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in conducting student assessments and implementing therapy plans.

Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.

Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and special education staff to ensure therapy goals are met.

Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation for student records.

Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Massachusetts COTA licensure required.

Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.

Experience working with school-aged children and special education students preferred.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
