Job Description:

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgeries
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Monitor and manage surgical supplies and instruments
• Ensure patient safety by following infection control policies
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Sterilize and handle surgical instruments, ensuring availability and readiness

Education and Certification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Previous surgical technologist experience in a hospital setting is preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
