Job Description:

• Patient Care: Plan and implement recreational therapy programs designed to meet patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Activity Coordination: Organize and lead individual and group activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, music, and social events.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess patients' abilities, needs, and interests to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Certification: Must be a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (C-Cert Thera Rec Spec).
• BLS Certification: Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
