Position Overview
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional care for hospitalized patients across a variety of service lines. You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for inpatient populations

Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on medical conditions and patient needs

Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as appropriate
-
Provide nutrition education to patients and families to support recovery and long-term health
-
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, and other clinical disciplines

Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning

Ensure documentation meets hospital, regulatory, and accreditation standards
-
Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based nutrition practices
-
Maintain compliance with food safety, infection control, and clinical policies
Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
-
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential required
-
Active or eligible Ohio licensure required

Prior clinical or hospital-based dietitian experience preferred

Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical guidelines
