Required Skills:
- Solid understanding of clinical nutrition principles and inpatient dietary management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop tailored nutrition plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Current licensure or certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent, preferred but not required
- Prior inpatient clinical experience is a plus but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Must possess or be eligible for appropriate state licensure
- No travel required; primarily based in a hospital setting
- Commitment to maintaining professional development and certification
