Permanent Clinical Informatics RN  - Kellogg, ID

Location: Kellogg, Idaho
Shift: Varied Monday-Friday, Day shift schedule

Job Description:

  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and IT to enhance the functionality and usability of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Analyze and optimize workflows to improve clinical processes and patient care through technology.
  • Train and support clinical staff on the use of clinical software and data systems.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of new clinical applications and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Monitor system performance and user activity to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest health informatics trends and technologies.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certification in Health Informatics or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in clinical informatics or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes in ED, Med Surg, and LTC settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead system improvements.
