Job Description:

• Laboratory Management: Provide leadership and oversight for the clinical laboratory department, ensuring efficient operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

• Staff Supervision: Manage laboratory staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory testing.

• Testing Procedures: Oversee laboratory testing procedures, protocols, instrumentation, and equipment maintenance to meet industry standards and best practices.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and safety protocols, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA regulations.

• Data Analysis: Analyze laboratory data, results, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and process optimization.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Current Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification from ASCP or equivalent.
