• 3x12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 11 AM - 11:30 PM

Job Summary: The CT Technologist will perform procedures according to departmental protocols and standards, operating CT Scanners and associated equipment with high proficiency. Responsibilities include patient preparation, administering IV contrast, performing CT scans, assisting with invasive procedures, and maintaining safety standards.

Essential Functions:

• Verify and examine orders for assigned patients, consulting Radiologists as needed.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast following protocols.
• Evaluate the technical quality of images, making additional images if necessary.
• Assist during medical emergencies and code blue procedures.
• Maintain radiology safety and practice proper sterile techniques.
• Document contrast administration and maintain orderly work areas.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Proficient in operating CT Scanners, patient monitoring, and adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Experience in a large facility or trauma setting is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year AMA and ARRT-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required.
