Location: Charlotte, NC - Atrium Acute Hospital
Pay Rate: $68 per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule: 1 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
Schedule Type: Night Shift
Scrub Color: Black
Certification/Licensure Required: ARRT in MRI & BLS
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract in Charlotte, NC. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $2,680 per week. The MRI Technologist I will perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards, operating MRI scanners and associated equipment proficiently. Key responsibilities include verifying patient orders, preparing and assisting patients, documenting medical histories, administering IV contrast, and ensuring image quality. The role also requires identifying abnormalities, assisting during medical emergencies, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and frequent movement
- Adherence to radiation safety guidelines
