Job Description

Travel Med Surg RN – Day or Night Shift – 3x12s – Valentine, NE

Connected Health Care, a nationally recognized recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel opportunity with one of our valued critical access hospital partners near Valentine, Nebraska. Position Details:

  • Location: Near Valentine, NE

  • Schedule: 3x12s – Day and night shift available

  • Start Date: Within the next month

  • Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

  • Employment Type: Travel Contract (permanent opportunity available as well) 

Job Description:

  • Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery

  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with diagnostic tests

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery processes

  • Document all patient interactions in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all patients

Requirements:

  • Active RN license – Nebraska or compact state

  • Minimum of 2 years recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required

  • BLS required, ACLS preferred

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

  • Prior experience in a rural or critical access setting is a plus
