Contract - Physical Therapist (Inpatient)
Location: Lehigh Acres, FL - Long Term Acute Care 
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8

Compensation:

• $2,280 per week
• $57 per hour

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services, helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life through targeted treatments. You will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, ensuring all activities adhere to the Physical Therap Practice Act in Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in enhancing mobility through exercise and therapeutic techniques.
• Accurately interpret and implement protocol orders.
• Develop and maintain patient treatment plans, identifying patient challenges, goals, and intervention strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques to support recovery at home.

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Florida.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience as a Physical Therapist.
