Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – 8-Week Contract


Location:  Athens, GA
Facility Type: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital
Shift: 3x12-Hour Night Shifts
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Compensation: $2,052/week
Candidate Type: RRT Only (No CRT candidates)

Position Overview:

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an 8-week night shift contract in Athens, GA. This LTAC facility is ideal for professionals with strong critical care experience who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical resource throughout the hospital

  • Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls

  • Develop and implement patient care plans

  • Administer respiratory medications and therapeutic gases

  • Monitor, interpret, and act on vital signs and clinical data

  • Operate and assess patient monitoring and respiratory equipment

  • Utilize independent judgment in patient care situations

Requirements:

  • Active RRT License (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

  • Minimum 1 year of hospital experience (critical care preferred)

  • BLS & ACLS certifications (required; courses available if needed)

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills

  • Professional, team-oriented, and flexible
