Job Description:
Connected Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract position in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is perfect for a skilled therapist who is committed to enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients to improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, physicians, and staff to ensure an integrated approach to care.
- Conduct in-services and training sessions to support the professional growth of fellow staff members.
- Assist in the overall management and operations of the therapy department.
- Supervise and support Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed, in accordance with state regulations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (SLD) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Graduation from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
- Possess or be eligible for state licensure.
