Job Description: Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Speech Therapist to join our client’s rehabilitation facility in West Bend, Iowa. In this role, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to patients of various ages, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance patient recovery and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing capabilities.
- Develop tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and community outreach efforts.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., dysphagia, pediatric speech therapy) are a plus.
- General certifications in CPR and first aid may be required.
