Job Description
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a local travel contract position near Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description:
- Patient Care: Provide respiratory care to patients, including administering treatments and monitoring patient progress.
- Ventilator Management: Manage and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Assessment: Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting treatments and patient responses.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and treatment plans.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- WI RRT License: Must have an active Wisconsin Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification is required.
- PALS Certification: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is required.
