Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid and current nursing license in Nebraska or the ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
  • Certifications Requirements: CPR certification, BLS certification, and ACLS certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a long-term care or similar clinical setting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and familiarity with EMR systems

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with all facility policies and regulations.
  • Assess residents’ health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress regularly.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately within scope of practice, documenting all interventions precisely.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards.
