Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist - Milwaukee, WI

Job Description:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient progress in various healthcare settings
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status, including oxygen levels and ventilatory function
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and proper use of respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in the state of Wisconsin or eligibility for licensure
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-focused approach
