Job Description:
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting patient assessments to determine functional abilities and limitations.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.
- Administering physical therapy interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Educating patients and their families about the treatment process and home exercise programs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a travel or contract position is preferred but not required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
