Cytotechnologist - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 - $15,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Description:
- Prepare and examine microscopic slides of body fluids, cells, and other substances.
- Identify abnormalities in specimens such as infections, cancer, and pre-cancerous lesions.
- Collaborate with pathologists to discuss findings and determine further testing or diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all findings.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
- Follow all safety protocols and laboratory guidelines.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or a related field.
- Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Cytotechnologist (CT) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
