What You’ll Do:
As our DON, you’ll oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will foster a positive team environment, drive quality improvements, and uphold the highest standards of resident care. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in long-term care (LTC)
- Proven leadership and management skills, preferably as a DON or in a supervisory nursing role
- Nebraska state or NE compact RN license
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing or assisted living facility
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
- Experience with staff development and training
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Nebraska or applicable compact state
- Prior leadership experience in long-term care settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work days, with shifts and schedules discussed during the interview
- Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care
- Willingness to embrace a collaborative, team-oriented environment
