Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment.

• Analyze samples in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.

• Accurately document and report test results to healthcare providers.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).

• State licensure as required (or willingness to obtain licensure in Alabama).

• New graduates are encouraged to apply; previous laboratory experience is a plus.
