Title: Travel Oncology Coordinator RN

Location: Near Valentine, NE

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5x8s – Day Shift

Setting: Critical Access Hospital

Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee oncology treatment plans for patients
-
Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, medications, and follow-up care
-
Collaborate with oncologists, infusion nurses, and other care providers to ensure comprehensive treatment
-
Manage patient schedules, referrals, authorizations, and clinical documentation
-
Provide emotional support and advocacy throughout the treatment journey
Qualifications:

Active RN license – Nebraska or compact state
-
Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
-
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required
-
BLS certification required
-
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-
Prior experience in a critical access or rural health setting is a plus
