13-Week Contract ? Permanent Opportunity
Up to $30/hour | Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a Critical Access Hospital in Ness County to find an experienced Dietary Manager for a travel-to-permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) looking for stability, leadership responsibility, and the option to convert into a permanent position after the initial contract.

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks with strong opportunity to convert to permanent

  • Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Setting: Critical Access Hospital

  • Pay: Up to $30/hour

  • Start: ASAP

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the dietary and nutrition services department

  • Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal food safety regulations

  • Manage food service staff scheduling, training, and performance

  • Coordinate meal planning to meet nutritional, medical, and therapeutic diet requirements

  • Maintain inventory, ordering, and cost control for food and supplies

  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient care

  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, infection control, and patient satisfaction

Education & Certification Requirements (Required)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification – REQUIRED

  • ServSafe Certification (required or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, critical access hospital, or long-term care)

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in dietary services
