As an ICU RN, you will be the vital link in delivering expert care to critically ill patients. Your expertise will help stabilize, monitor, and support patients through their most challenging moments. Working nights (7 pm – 7 am, 3x12s), you’ll collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, ensuring each patient receives personalized, high-quality care. Required Skills:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Kansas
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Ability to assess and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in patient assessment, documentation, and following hospital protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- ACLS certification (preferred, must be obtained within 6 months)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
- Prior ICU experience of 2+ years in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Valid RN license issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing
- Ability to work night shifts (7 pm – 7 am, 3x12s)
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications if not already held
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards
