Director of Nursing (DON)Â
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Director of Nursing (DON) and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care in a respected long-term care facility. We’re seeking a passionate, experienced nurse leader ready to make a difference.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Strong leadership skills with prior DON or relevant management experience
- Current NE state or Compact nursing license
- Ability to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities
Nice to Have:
- Additional certifications such as BLS, or other relevant credentials
- Proven track record in staff development and quality improvement initiatives
- Experience with regulatory audits and accreditation processes
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited program
- At least 3Â years of nursing management or leadership experience, ideally in LTC settings
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a daytime schedule, with shifts and hours to be discussed during the interview
- No travel required
- Commitment to fostering a compassionate, patient-centered environment
