Director of Nursing for Skilled Nursing Facility 

Connected Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead a skilled nursing facility attached to a hospital in the Dothan, Alabama area. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of patient care services for the Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Ensures the quality of patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develops and maintains nursing policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains nursing staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Oversees the hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and development of nursing staff.
• Develops and implements nursing quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective patient outcomes.
• Participates in budget development and monitoring.
• Maintains effective communication with physicians, hospital administration, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:
• Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
