Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $53/hr based on experience

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for a 13-week contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an Educational Services client, providing high-quality education to students with special needs.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, to students with mild and moderate disabilities.
- Teach basic skills, such as literacy and communication techniques, to students with severe disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and parents to support student development and achievement.
- Monitor and assess students' progress and prepare reports on their progress.
- Use special tools and technology to enhance learning experiences.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
