What You’ll Do:
As an ENT Surgical Tech, you will prepare operating rooms and assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and managing supplies. You'll work alongside skilled professionals in a friendly setting, ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes. Your efforts will contribute directly to high-quality outpatient ENT care, in a setting that values your expertise and dedication.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Tech
- Proficient in sterile technique and surgical instrument handling
- Ability to prepare ORs, assist during surgeries, and maintain inventory
- Knowledge of aseptic practices following AORN and AST standards
- Excellent attention to detail and patient safety awareness
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Cross-training experience across multiple surgical specialties
- Familiarity with outpatient surgical center workflows
- Basic knowledge of ENT procedures and instruments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification not required but valued
- Experienced Surgical Tech comfortable working in a multi-specialty environment
- Prior experience in ambulatory or outpatient surgical settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work days, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Days, 5x8s) with no nights, weekends, or major holidays
- Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks associated with surgical support
- Located in Peoria, IL, or willing to commute to the surgical center
