Connected Health Care has an excellent opportunity for an experienced ER Nurse near Augusta, GA.

Job Description: 
We are seeking a reliable ER nurse who provides excellent care to patients in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate needs to be able to assess and administer general treatment to patients quickly and confidently. The ER nurse should be able to work in life-threatening situations and provide immediate care.

Responsibilities: 
• Assess and administer treatment to patients quickly and accurately 
• Work in life-threatening situations and provide immediate care. 
• Recognize the scope of treatment necessary and act accordingly 
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatments 
• Develop treatment systems and conduct patient and family education 
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, change dressings and prepare patients for examination 
• Participate in diagnostic testing procedures 
• Follow procedures for the safe administration of medications 

Education and Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.S.N) 
• Must have current license to practice as an ER Nurse 
• 2+ years of ER nursing experience required 
• Current CPR certification 
• Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
