Per Diem ER RN - Laurinburg, NC

Location: Laurinburg, North Carolina
Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule

Ideal candidates will have experience in critical access hospitals, including ED, Med Surg, and LTC settings. Job Description:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an Emergency Room setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all presenting patients.
• Perform triage duties to determine the priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Interpret patient information and make critical decisions about needed actions.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Room settings, with additional experience in Med Surg and LTC preferred.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
