Essential Duties:

- Ability to work closely with Emergency Department Medical Director
- Ability to oversee Trauma Program
- Ability to work with community partners (EMS, law enforcement, dispatch, etc.) for overall trauma care improvement
- Develops department goals in conjunction with establishing/implementing policies
goals.
- Oversees the day-to-day management of department staff and ensures productivity
- Provides leadership, vision, development, and implementation of long-term nursing
- Ensures department is in compliance with all regulatory and licensing agencies.
- Identifies, facilitates, and evaluates patient care practices and department goals according
- Investigates and takes appropriate timely action(s) to resolve department,
- Responsible for attending all meetings as assigned, i.e.Regional Trauma Advisory Committee, ER/Trauma, Department Head, QA, etc.
- Responsible for the maintenance of your individual nursing practice, professional growth, and development, as well that of your staff.
- Provide professional leadership and direction to the patient care team.
Qualifications:

- Five years nursing experience in a ED setting preferred.
- Two to three years management experience preferred.
- Ability to manage, organize, provide leadership and direction; and coordinate the workflow of the Emergency Department and staff, to include the RN’s, LPN’s, CNA's, and Registration personnel.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Maintains a Valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Wisconsin.
- Maintains Current CPR Certification.
- ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification or obtained within 12 months of hire.
