The Emergency Department Manager reports directly to the CNO, with a multitude of staff members reporting to this position.

• Developing department goals in conjunction with establishing/implementing policies and procedures for department operations in alignment with the hospital's strategic goals
• Overseeing the day-to-day management of department staff to ensure productivity is maximized
• Providing leadership, vision, development, and implementation of long-term nursing goals for the Emergency Department
• Ensuring the department complies with all regulatory and licensing agencies.

To apply for this Emergency Department Manager role, you will need to be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelors Degree preferred. You will also require the following:

• Five years of nursing experience in an ED setting preferred
• Two to three years of management experience preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification.
