Job Description:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Emergency Room department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
• Lead and mentor ER nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Manage department budget, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and department performance, implementing improvements as needed

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred. 
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona. 
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience. 
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required. 
• CEN Certification and/or advanced trauma training.
